Syllabus for MDS Entrance Exam 2020 In Nepal; by Medical Education Commission

Dental graduates who wish to appear for MDS entrance exam in Nepal must go through the exam pattern recently provided by Medical Education Commission for year 2020.

Previously every year TU, KU, BPKIHS, Bir Hospital and other University conducted their MDS Entrance exam by Respective University. But from 2020 Only one common Exam for MDS aspirants will be conducted by Medical education Commission.

Medical education Commission the regulatory body of Medical education released syllabus and exam pattern for MDS entrance exam. This exam contain total 200 multiple choice questions which are included from the topics covered in BDS programme which includes basics and Clinical.

According to the Medical Education Commission MDS exam pattern, total 200 question will be there and time for these 200 multiple choice questions is 3 hours. Here is selection criteria and Syllabus of MDS Entrance in Nepal conducted by Medical Education Commission.

Eligibility criteria MDS Entrance in Nepal

  • BDS or equivalent from institute recognized from government of Nepal
  • Registered in Nepal Medical Council
  • Registered in their own country medical Council for foreign candidates
  • One year experience
  • Candidate should score minimum of 50% [Pass marks] in the entrance exam conducted by Medical education Commission for bring eligible to be in merit

Exam format

  1. Single best response type with multiple Choice question
  2. There will be 4 options (A, B, C, D)
  3. No of total question will be 200
  4. Recall Understanding Application 30:50:20
  5. Total time for exam will be 3 hour
