ORE Study Materials; Which you shouldn’t miss to crack ORE Exam

    Dear part 1 candidates

I have been approached by many candidates asking how to start preparing for exam. I understand that everyone has its own way of studying, but I decided to share a well comprehensive studying plan. From my experience it will be of a  great way to start preparing, I believe there is a wide range of information need to go through in order to get ready and these information are scattered throughout different books, because of that I suggest you to prepare in a subject wise and I will explain how you do that.

You have to know how to deal with large books such as SCULLY, my advise is to summarise each chapter and make a concise notes. For example: start with respiratory system make your summary and when you have any information related to respiratory system in any other source or book add it to same respiratory notes and you will end with having everything together. Apply this to all chapters and even for clinical dentistry subjects.

What is the best way to make your notes? ok, the exam will test your knowledge as a newly graduated dentist ,so again back to my example about respiratory part. Assume your in your surgery and the patient entered your room ,what are the signs that help you to think the patient might has respiratory problem. Then the patient set on the dental chair what you would expect to find in his mouth, face, hands, then what is your general and dental management and investigations you need to confirm diagnosis. Don’t go deep in your information be smart and pick up the important ones.

Next you do not need to go back to your  large books which are absolutely distressing especially when time start running and exam date almost there.

Do you want to pass the exam? Ok ensure to read the materials three times during preparation so you will be able to drop your answer quickly.
